Position: Night Shift Foreman - Bay City

Type: Full Time

Location: Bay City, TX

Position Summary

The Night Shift Foreman will oversee all activities related to machining and welding operations for shell and tube heat exchanger repairs and fabrication. The foreman will also be responsible for coordinating shop activities with other departmental supervisors to ensure timely delivery and quality of customer requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Confer with project managers for job requirements and scheduling.
  • Plan and monitor work processes and production flow.
  • Communicate job expectations and performance requirements to shop personnel.
  • Ensure that all work meets the specified requirements before inspection is initiated.

Work Experience:

  • Previous shop management experience in shell and tube heat exchangers, or related field.
  • General knowledge of machining, welding, and fabrications processes.
  • Must be detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Position: Drafter

Type: Full Time

Dunn Heat Exchangers specializes in the cleaning, repair, testing, design, and fabrication of shell and tube type heat exchangers and unfired pressure vessels. Serving clients throughout the U.S., Dunn works with the largest refining and petrochemical complexes in the world.

Position Summary

The drafter will help design heat exchangers and develop programs for machining equipment.

Specifications:

  • Must have a basic understanding of Drafting/Design.
  • Must have experience with AutoCAD or similar.
  • Be able to communicate with Engineering and Shop Personnel.
  • Must be able to manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Must be detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Work Experience:

  • Recent graduates and experienced drafters welcome to apply.

Position: Class A CDL Truck Driver

Type: Full Time

Location: Texas City, TX

We are looking for experienced Class A drivers to work full time for our industrial service company. Drivers will work out of our company headquarters and will haul industrial equipment from refineries and petrochemical plants to one of our facilities.

Description:

  • Majority of trips will be under 200 miles.
  • Drivers will be busy during turnaround seasons and will possibly have to work swinging shifts.
  • Drivers must have a strong work ethic and be willing to safely and quickly complete jobs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience.
  • Must have a valid Class A CDL.
  • Must have a current TWIC.
  • Must be able to rig and secure loads.
  • Towing experience preferred but not required.

Position: Master Electrician

Position Summary

Master Electrician will service both of our facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to perform routine electrical maintenance to code at our facilities.
  • Must be knowledgeable about current electrical codes and standards.
  • Will work on electrical for commercial buildings as well as machining and industrial equipment.
  • Will perform routine inspections throughout our facilities and equipment.
  • Must be able to communicate with shop management concerning electrical issues.

  • Minimum 5 years work experience as a licensed Master Electrician.

Position Summary

The estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed material and labor estimates for cleaning, repairs, and fabrication of Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers. You will work closely with management, engineering and the customers to read and interpret request for quotes (RFQ), technical specifications, ASME Code, and all requirements related to the job.

Responsibilities

  • Review Client requests/specifications for services to be provided.
  • Confer with clients for job requirements and scheduling.
  • Work closely with management to determine available resources for scheduling.
  • Prepare labor and material take-off sheets from engineering drawings, data sheets, and/or measurements of existing equipment.
  • Work with purchasing obtaining competitive vendor pricing of raw materials and sub-contracted services.
  • Prepare technical proposals including estimated cleaning/repair/fabrication schedules.
  • Create Job Packages upon acceptance of order.
  • Prepare cost with schedule impact for Change Orders/EWA

Work Experience:
