Quality Assurance Team

Our Quality Assurance (QA) Department ensures that your fabrication and repair needs meet the latest code requirements of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Tubular Exchanger Manufacturers Association (TEMA). QA will also help you determine the repairs required to return equipment to service as quickly as possible, minimizing critical unit downtime.

ASME Code Facility

As an ASME certified "U" and Nation Board certified "R" shop, Dunn Heat Exchangers is qualified to handle all ASME fabrication and repair requirements.

Qualifications

Our Quality Assurance personnel are certified by the American Society of Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT) SNT-TC-1A, American Petroleum Institute (API) 510, and American Welding Society AWS - CWI - CWE and in accordance with those standards.

Inspection Process

  • Dunn’s heat exchanger inspection methods are thorough, efficient and highly communicative. Our inspection test plan includes equipment testing tailored to each job. These inspection tests include our rigorously monitored hydro testing procedure and pressure testing procedures.
  • Digital photographs of work in progress is a QA activity that is greatly appreciated by our customers, especially those who are located many miles from our facilities. Office accommodations are provided to our customers, offering them safe, quiet, comfortable work spaces with access to the internet and anything you might need to continue working while at our shop.
